Navigating Political and Personal Turmoil with Mindfulness for Mindfulness Teachers
October 25, 2025 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm UTC+0
£60

It’s completely natural to feel frustrated, anxious, afraid, or overwhelmed by political events and conflicts.
These are complex issues that can have real impacts on our lives and communities.
The good news is that by acknowledging our fears and anxiety while taking purposeful action, we can navigate political turmoil with greater calm and effectiveness.
Though challenges remain, Dr. Rick Hanson will help us explore some of the personal practices we can utilise and purposeful actions we can take to shape our response and contribute to positive change.
Please note: This first part of the workshop is open to mindfulness teachers and practitioners. In the second part of the workshop, open only to trained teachers, we’ll explore how this learning can also inform our teaching and enhance our skills to support our participants as they progress through their own mindfulness journey.
This event is included as part of the new Oxford Mindfulness Members’ Programme. Non–members are welcome to join the event at the relevant fee band.
