Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) First Class

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction is a comprehensive eight-week program that provides the training and support needed to develop or renew a personal mindfulness meditation practice. You will learn the benefits and science behind mindfulness meditation, including enhanced resilience and stress reduction. You’ll also explore a variety of other mindfulness practices, including gentle yoga, mindful communication, and other practical approaches to help you bring mindful awareness to your everyday activities. This program is appropriate for anyone wishing to improve their wellbeing through a regular and consistent mindfulness practice.
Please note, you are still able to register for a course after the orientation session as there is a pre-recorded version available.
Fall 2022: Tuesday Evenings
Orientation: September 13, 6-7 p.m. Central
First Class: September 20, 6-9 p.m.
Classes 2-7: September 27, October 11, October 18, October 25, November 1, November 8, 6-8:30 p.m. (we will not hold class on October 4 in observance of Yom Kippur)
Last class: November 15, 6-9 p.m.
Retreat: Saturday, November 5, 9am-4:30pm
