Celebrating the Solstice: Honoring Darkness, Welcoming Light

December 20, 2025 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm UTC-5

$25

This gathering honors the winter solstice. It’s the darkest time of year in the northern hemisphere—a time when we celebrate that even in the deepest darkness, light is reborn, light returns.

The solstice invites us to turn our attention inward, celebrate the power of rest, regeneration and renewal, and practice letting go while attuning to what wants to come forth. How have you grown this year? What challenges did you face and what did they teach you? Which habits, patterns, or beliefs no longer serve you? Are there seeds of hope, joy, or growth you want to nurture in the year ahead? In reflecting on the year, we can deepen our understanding and care for ourselves, and begin to make space for what’s next.

This session is a chance to rest, reflect, and cultivate clarity as we prepare to welcome 2026. It includes:

Short talks on energies and cultural histories of this time
Guided meditations and reflections
Time to journal or share

If you wish, bring a candle; an object or picture that inspires you; some cinnamon, clove or an orange; mistletoe or evergreen branch—anything that connects you to this season and that symbolizes light, warmth, and new beginnings.
