Meditation for All Hallows Eve: Letting Go, Welcoming the Dark
November 1, 2025 @ 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm UTC-4

This gathering honors the midpoint between the fall equinox and the winter solstice, a time many of us know as Halloween (it goes by other names, too). It’s a potent time of year, imbued with rich traditions—a time that honors the full cycle of beginnings and endings, life and death, light and darkness.
As we move further into the dark part of the year, this midpoint invites us to turn our attention inward, acknowledge the power of rest, regeneration and renewal, and practice letting go. Are there aspects of your life that are changing or coming to an end? Are you holding onto something that needs to be released—a pattern of thinking, a habit, a relationship, an attitude, a way of working, or something else? In letting go of what no longer serves, we can make space for new life to emerge.
This class includes short talks on the energies and cultural histories of this time, guided meditations and reflections, and time to journal or share.
If you wish, bring a candle; a picture of an ancestor or loved one; or some leaves, acorns or pinecones—anything that symbolizes change or transformation to you.
Suggested cost is $25, but please come regardless of your ability to pay. You are welcome! Venmo and PayPal info is available on the registration page.
