Train to Introduce Mindfulness Information Session – Tuesday

August 8, 2023 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am BST

This hour-long online information session will introduce our 10 day training, Train to Introduce Mindfulness.

Train to Introduce Mindfulness is designed to provide skills and competencies to people working in settings where they would like to offer mindfulness practices but not teach a full 8-week course. It equips trainees with the skills to deliver the 3-session Introducing Mindfulness (IM) curriculum, which offers a brief taste of mindfulness practice and theory. You will also to be able to offer practices outside of the structured course to those you are engaging with in day to day life.

This is not an Introduction to Mindfulness session (please visit our ‘Learn Mindfulness’ section of the website for those sessions).

Ideally you will have completed a teacher-led 8-week Mindfulness for Life, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction or Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBSR, MBCT or MBCT-L) course before you join this session, to be able to contribute fully. A question and answer section will be included, however the number of people joining each session will impact on how much interaction and space there is for individual questions
