Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8-week, evidence-based, experiential program providing in-depth training in mindfulness meditation and movement practices. The program also helps participants integrate mindfulness into their daily lives. Created by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979, MBSR is based on ancient contemplative practices integrated with western medical approaches. This program harnesses our inner resources and has been demonstrated to enhance emotional resilience.

Summer 2024: Wednesday Evenings
Orientation: July 10, 6-7 p.m. Central
First Class: July 17, 6-9 p.m. Central
Classes 2-7: July 24, July 31, August 7, August 14, August 21, August 28, 6-8:30 p.m. Central
Retreat: Saturday, August 24, 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Central
Last Class: September 4, 6-9 p.m. Central
