Mindfulness teaches us practices to be present in our daily lives. Mindful Self Compassion teaches us practices to care for ourselves.
In order to really open our hearts to ourselves, we need three things. First, we need mindfulness. We need to be aware of our suffering and be willing to open to it. We need to be kind to ourselves in response. And also we need a sense of common humanity, recognizing that we’re all imperfect, we all struggle, and we aren’t alone.
Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally.
Mindfulness has been shown to reduce anxiety, help cope with daily stressors of life, improve sleep, create calm and well-being, happiness and joy.

Join us on Tuesday evenings for a one hour group comprised of meditation, discussion, and a QandA. All are welcome… Those that are new and curious about mindfulness and meditation, as well as experienced meditators looking for a group practice.
