Peace & Equanimity are defined as:
a spaciousness and balance of heart. mental calmness, composure, and evenness of temper, especially in a difficult situation.
Although they grow naturally with our meditation practice, peace and equanimity can also be cultivated in the same systematic way that we have used for lovingkindness and compassion.

Here’s a passage from the book, The Art of Forgiveness, Lovingkindness, and Peace, by Jack Kornfield.
The human mind can create conflict. It can also create peace. To find peace in the world, first we have to find peace in ourselves.

Practice group on Peace & Equanimity, Tuesday. Mar 17 at 6:00pm Pacific

Join us on Tuesday evenings for a one hour group comprised of meditation, discussion, and a QandA. All are welcome… Those that are new and curious about mindfulness and meditation, as well as experienced meditators looking for a group practice.

This is a weekly, free, practice group. Always free, donations gratefully accepted.
