‘A festive pause’ morning retreat & lunch

December 10, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 1:30 pm UTC+0

£63 – £68

Are you bracing yourself for a busy festive season of parties, family events & expectations?

Do you struggle to make time for yourself over Christmas?

Do you dread the difficult emotions this time of year stirs up for you?

Take some time to pause and look after yourself before the festive season begins. Whether you love this time of year, or dread the feelings or memories it brings up for you, this retreat will help you feel rested, balanced and able to cope with whatever kind of Christmas you have.

Join us in the peaceful surroundings of St Ethelwold’s House and gardens for a gentle morning of mindfulness and coaching activities. We’ll end by enjoying a delicious plant-based lunch cooked by award-winning local chef Georgia from Table 13.

All activities will be suitable for beginners, and you don’t have to be able to sit cross-legged on the floor (unless you want to!) We welcome people of all ages, genders and walks of life.

Included in your ticket:

– Guided mindfulness and self-compassion practices guided by Sally Harris
– Reflective journaling led by Lynne Davies-Craine
– Nature connection in the beautiful gardens at St Ethelwold’s House
– Delicious plant-based lunch and cake from Georgia at Table 13
– Tea, coffee and snacks available throughout
– Time to rest & relax

This is the fifth retreat Sally & Lynne have led together. Some feedback on our last ‘festive pause’ retreat:

“I was massively able to let go of pressured expectations and had one of our best Christmas ever! Book me in for next year’s one! Big thanks Sally and Lynne!”

“I just wanted to thank you for the festive pause. I am feeling quite different this Xmas and I actually think that is in part down to giving myself the gift of your workshop and TIME to proactively think through some stuff and make peace and be in a much better position to face what usually comes up. So, thank you”

“for me you pitched it just right, a good balance, you make a great double act!”
