I trained with MTIA (mindfulness training institute of Australia and New Zealand’s) the duration of my training from the initial application to becoming fully certified was 18 months. This included an immersion training retreat, essay assignment, 8 week dyadic pratice and review of the various MBI’s and 8 week practicum study course. It also involved fortnightly supervision during 3 rounds of teaching MBSR and then submitting a full report on how I met the MBI TAC standards. I have continued supervision through out my ongoing teaching.
In addition I have also Completed the ‘finding peace in a frantic world’ teacher training (October 2020) with the Oxford University mindfulness centre (OMC) and am just about to complete their ‘Mindfulness in the workplace’ certification - also with OMC.
