After 30 years of experience as a psychologist and executive at a number of academic institutions, Jerry became the founder of Equanimity Consulting, offering the Google-born mindfulness-based emotional intelligence training program Search Inside Yourself.
With a mindfulness practice of over a decade, Jerry is motivated by being of service to others and acting with compassion. A dedication to growth and well-being has led him to cultivate a true appreciation for the world around him, and he believes in the power of mindfulness to support living as a “better me.”
Jerry holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from the City University of New York. He has been lecturing on the subject of emotional intelligence for over 15 years and is a highly-rated teacher, known for his caring and knowledge.

I am a Certified Teacher of Search Inside Yourself, the research-based program developed at Google that combines mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and neuroscience to expand leadership capacity, sharpen peak performance, and support overall well-being. I completed the mindfulness-based stress reduction program through the Center for Mindfulness at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

I completed formal training in Berkeley, CA through the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute, through which I am a certified teacher of the Search Inside Yourself program.
