For almost 30 years Amy Saltzman M.D. has been offering mindfulness to people age 3-93 . She began offering mindfulness to patients with chronic pain and illness, and hospital staff. When she became a parent she offered mindfulness to parents. After sharing mindfulness with her own children, and reading in both the research literature and lay press about the stress and distress of today's youth she thought "why do we have to wait until we are 40 and have had a heart attack or gotten divorce to learn these skills? Why can't we learn them when we are 8?" She is recognized by her peers as a pioneer in the filed of mindfulness for youth. It is her great joy to share mindfulness with any and all who are interested- children, adolescents, parents, teachers, therapists, health professionals, corporate employees and execs, athletes and coaches. She has offered mindfulness in a wide variety of settings- community programs, tech companies, schools (underserved and affluent), online, hospitals, athletic teams, and university departments. She would be delighted to tailor an in person or online program for you and/or your organization.
