Dr. Ni-Cheng Liang is an award-winning American board-certified physician in pulmonary and internal medicine. She is a qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher on the certification pathway via the UCSD Center for Mindfulness. She has been teaching mindfulness to all levels of healthcare professionals from trainees to administrators, patients, both locally, and nationally for the last 9 years via teaching MBSR, leading workshops and giving lectures. Teaching mindfulness is a core foundational practice that she incorporates in her practice of medicine. In response to the increased stressors of the COVID-19 pandemic she founded the Mindful Healthcare Collective and the Mindful Healing Collectives bringing evidence-based mindfulness live online sessions for free to healthcare professionals and the general public. She has published American Thoracic Society Patient Education Series documents on mindfulness and integrative therapies in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine.
