Mary was moved to teach mindfulness after experiencing the subtle and profound shifts in her own inner and outer life as a result of her practice. She began her formal training nearly a decade ago after she became a parent, initially focusing on children. After becoming Mindful Schools-Certified, she turned her attention to Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and adults, and is qualified to teach MBSR by Brown University's Mindfulness Center. Mary teaches both online and in-person, offering free self-care and family sessions several times a week. She is the Chief Learning Officer for a corporate training company that specializes in life transitions, and has incorporated many principles of mindfulness into its curriculum since 2015. She has created Mindfulness for Financial Advisors (MFA) and offers it several times a year. She earned her doctorate from New York University's School of Education.
