Her teaching and practice integrate contextual behavioural science, nature connection, and Buddhist contemplative practice to nourish qualities of awakening. Trained in yoga, mindfulness, mindful self compassion, nature connection, and evidence-based psychological interventions, Kimberly specializes in helping physicians, leaders, athletes and high performers build resilience, heal trauma, and cultivate well-being and conditions for growth. She has trained in a PTSD unit at a US Veteran’s Administration hospital, bringing a deep trauma sensitivity to her teaching amd clinical work. In addition to being an award winning researcher and clinician, she is a member of the University of Ottawa's Academy for Mindfulness and Contemplative Studies, an International Mindfulness Teachers Association Certified Mindfulness Teacher - Professional, and certified teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion, Awake in the Wild mindfulness in nature, and a member of the 2021-2022 cohort of the Buddhist Eco-Chaplaincy program of the Sati Center for Buddhist Studies.
