UCLA’s Six Week Mindful Awareness Practices Class

March 6, 2023 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm UTC+7

$165 – $200

I absolutely LOVE teaching this class! You will leave each class with a toolkit of many mindfulness practices that will enhance your life journey. This is a fabulous introduction to mindfulness meditation and a great ‘reboot’ for seasoned practitioners. I hope you will join me!

Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs I) is a live online 6 week course that teaches you to start a mindfulness meditation practice. We will practice sitting and walking meditations, and learn how to work with difficult thoughts and emotions. These practices will help you develop greater mind-body awareness and reduce stress, improve attention, boost immune function, reduce emotional reactivity and promote a general sense of wellbeing. Developed and researched at UCLA’s Semel Institute Mindful Awareness Research Center.

12 CEU’s through NASW-NM for Social Workers, Counselors and Massage Therapists. If you live outside New Mexico, you can receive CEUs through UCLA. Let me know if you want this and I’ll guide you through the process.
