Specialist Training: Mindfulness in a One-to-One Context
January 17, 2023 @ 3:00 pm - February 21, 2023 @ 5:30 pm GMT
The contemporary mindfulness movement was founded on group-based courses, however, the benefit of bringing a mindfulness-based approach to individuals is now being recognized. This six-week specialist training is for those interested in bringing mindfulness into a one-to-one context.
Participants will engage in an experiential learning process, developing relational skills and understanding, while developing a plan for implementation that is specific to their setting. The training will be of greatest benefit to those already working within a one-to-one context such as therapy, coaching, teaching, chaplaincy, healthcare, social work, and other carer work. It is also relevant for those wanting to teach a mindfulness-based program curriculum to individuals rather than groups.
