Misconceptions about Self-Compassion: “Self-Compassion Is Weak”

• Self-compassion is strong; it offers resilience when people are faced with difficulty.

• Research shows that self-compassionate people are better able to cope with tough situations like divorce, trauma, or chronic pain.

6-week course in learning to meet life’s challenges with wisdom and treat yourself with kindness and compassion. Self-compassion has been shown to reduce anxiety and depression and increase happiness and emotional well-being. Course includes guidance on experiential self-compassion practices and meditations, a short talk on self-compassion topics and plenty of time for Q and A.

Registration is open! Space is limited.

Location: Online via Zoom.

Date and Time: 6 Thursday evenings at 6pm PST, April 21 – May 26, 2022.

Cost: $199 for 6-week course. Class meets for 1.5 hours, once a week, except the first class on April 21 is 2 hours.
