Research and Evaluation in MBCT

March 25, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm GMT

£120

Scientific theory and research are important underpinnings of MBCT. Effective teachers need to understand the evidence base in order to communicate with potential participants and other interested people about research evidence and the limitations of current knowledge. The first part of this workshop provides an informative summary of research on mindfulness and MBCT that will help teachers respond to questions from their participants and others. The second part of the workshop develops knowledge and skills for evaluating MBCT courses to determine whether participants are experiencing benefits.

IMPORTANT: You do not need to complete this workshop if you are currently on the OMF 12-month cohort training route

The OMF provides Confirmation of Attendance letters to all participants who attend our training events. Certificates are issued only after completion of the teacher training pathway, through a formal application process not linked to this event.
