ONLINE WORKSHOP | The Neuroscience of Mindfulness Practice

April 23, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm BST

£75

Research has demonstrated that mindfulness can help us to regulate our thoughts and moods, develop resilience, make us more productive and restore a sense of balance. But why and how does it work? What happens in our minds and bodies when we practice mindfulness?

This one-day workshop will explore the neural dynamics of a mindful brain, blending conceptual learning with experiential exercises. Led by Dr. Elena Antonova, a lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at Kings College London, the workshop is suitable for anyone considering enrolling an 8-week mindfulness course, as well as experienced mindfulness practitioners.

Full details are available on The Mindfulness Project’s website.

The Mindfulness Project has been offering mindfulness courses in our London (UK) space since 2014, and offering online mindfulness courses since 2016. Our vision has always been to create an innovative platform for sharing mindfulness with as many people as possible. By offering a secular and evidence-based approach, we hope to teach our audience what meditation is and help make learning mindfulness meditation more accessible and relatable to a mainstream audience while keeping it real and meaningful.
