About this event
We are offering ONLINE MINDFULNESS DAY RETREAT for 2022. They are open to anyone with mindfulness or meditation experience.

What is an Online Day retreat?

A day retreat is a silent day of mindfulness practice, with guided teaching throughout delivered online by our teacher.

We are all making a transition through difficult times, with all the uncertainty and unknown around us, we rarely have opportunities to step back and reflect.

Our two Online day retreats will offer you the time and space to be with yourself in a guided and supported environment at the comfort of your home. The retreat will include guided practices, like body awareness and movements. It will offer the possibility of observing the ebb and flow of your experience. And, a chance for you to investigate with curiosity and kindness whatever may be present in mind and body.

A day of practice in your house can be a valuable source of support. Day retreats can revitalise an existing mindfulness practice. They can also, help to reestablish a mindfulness practice after taking a break.

Is a day retreat for you?

The retreat is open to anyone with previous experience of mindfulness or meditation.

Online Admissions: £30

Students/Concessions : £20

Current Course Students (and FIRE PATRONS): Free

We invite you to approach the retreat as a day of time and space for yourself, so make yourself comfortable with your favourite cushion, shawl/ rug.

There will be time to get your tea/coffee and comfort breaks between the practices.

Please do not read or write (taking notes) during the retreat.

Make sure you are undisturbed at home during the retreat.

How your retreat will go

There will be a welcome at 11 am. We will then have a series of guided mindfulness practices, including mindful walking. Before breaking for lunch for an hour at around 1 pm.

In the afternoon we will continue with some further guided mindfulness practices. These will include some light mindful movement (Yoga or Tai Chi). The day will end with a transition out of the silence. You will then have an opportunity to ask questions and share your experience if you wish. The retreat will complete at around 4 pm.
