Mindfulness for Life MBSR 8-Week course (Trauma Sensitive) In-Person & Zoom

Our course is based on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) as developed by Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. This approach has been scientifically researched for over 40 years. Our course is also Compassion Focused and Trauma Sensitive which means that we are incorporating cutting edge discoveries in neuroscience as well as Self-compassion giving each course participant a safe space in which to explore mindfulness.

Our approach is based on modern Neuroscience and ancient meditation practice. We teach mindfulness in a light hearted and practical way applicable to daily life. This course is facilitated by Robert Gebka a Qualified MBSR Mindfulness Teacher who trained with the University of California San Diego Centers for Integrative Health, a former Zen Buddhist monk, NHS mental health worker and author of Managing Depression with Mindfulness for Dummies

Suitable for beginners and those with experience
You do not need any previous experience in mindfulness or meditation to join this course as this course is suitable for new-comers as well as experienced practitioners who wish to refresh and or expand on their practice. Mindfulness training is useful for people of all backgrounds, ages, interests and levels of well-being.

Join either in person/face to face or via Zoom
The entire 8 Week MBSR Mindfulness course is delivered in person, face to face but you can also join via video (Zoom) conferencing if preferred.
