Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

Are you chronically stressed? Do you suffer from chronic pain or illness? Do you want to take an active role in your own healthcare? MBSR consists of an orientation session, eight weekly classes and one day-long silent retreat. It is an interactive, participatory, practical course based on decades of published scientific research. It focuses on building mindfulness awareness skills that can be integrated into every aspect of one’s daily life. The majority of people who complete the course report lasting decreases in physical and psychological symptoms of pain, less anxiety and stress, fewer episodes of low mood and an increased ability to relax and enjoy life.
