Mindfulness- and Compassion-Based CBT Modular META Program Orientation

January 16, 2021 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 am UTC+0

The Modular META Program was developed for people experiencing a high level of stress and extreme levels of distress in mind, body, and behavior. It includes several adaptations to support people with symptoms of PTSD, OCD, and the range of anxiety conditions including Panic, Social Anxiety, GAD, Health Anxiety, and Agoraphobia,. It is unique in integrating relational mindfulness practices into every module in order to support presence in everyday living that is grounded in the sensational moment . It is also unique in that it considers automaticity a friend and not a problem.

The orientation is where you can learn more about if this program is a suitable match for your current needs. Healthcare professionals who work with people experiencing high stress and distress are also invited to attend as participant-practitioners and can supplement the program with CE workshops in order to learn to teach the modules in their own work.
