Metta Workshop (Later Option)

Join us for this workshop where we’ll learn about loving-kindness meditation and practice it.
The intended outcome is to learn loving-kindness meditation. Loving-kindness greases the wheels of life, making life sweeter and easier. We will practice in order to integrate loving kindness into our daily walking around life.
This program is for people who are interested in developing more friendliness towards self and other. You don’t have to be a Buddhist to do this practice.
The event is donation-based but you must register to attend. It will run twice to accommodate people in different timezones.
This program explores the benefits of cultivating loving-kindness (friendliness).
We will do traditional forms of Loving-Kindness Meditation. However we will also do visualization meditations that aim and integrating Loving-Kindness into our daily lives.
Resistance is a normal part of the healing process. We will learn to understand and value our own resistance, developing openness, and compassion towards it; not pushing it away.
