MBSR for Men

Announcing my next 8-week Mindfulness course. On this occasion, the programme will be for men only.
(My previous courses were attended by women mainly and I want to promote the benefits of mindfulness to men, too.)
This gold-standard programme is based on secular Mindfulness meditation practice and takes place on Tuesday evenings (7 – 9:15 pm UK) via ZOOM. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is scientifically underpinned and can help you cope better with stress and anxiety, and develop practical self-care tools to help you flourish. MBSR was developed by Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn in the 1970s at the University of Massachusetts Medical Centre. It is an 8-week, evidence-based programme to help participants explore habitual patterns of thinking, behaviour, and more. MBSR has proven to be so successful, it is used in hospitals around the world and is also taught in non-clinical settings, including workplaces, schools, and many other contexts. You will experience a variety of formal and informal mindfulness meditation practices, group dialogue, and gentle teachings around the physiology of stress, how to self-regulate your mood, responding instead of reacting in challenging situations, being more compassionate with yourself, and more.
