Learning to Surf the Waves with Mindfulness

February 22, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm UTC+0

Living life fully means showing up for whatever arises, wanted or unwanted. A dedicated practice of mindfulness can help us ride the ebb and flow of life with greater ease and resilience so that we may be more available for what is most important and meaningful to us. The attitudes and practices can help us resource ourselves, develop greater confidence, and widen our window of tolerance for facing and better understanding challenges.

This two hour seminar guided by Tracy Ochester, PsyD, RYT-200 provides an overview of mindfulness and how it can be useful in working skillfully with unavoidable and uncontrollable life difficulties. A variety of guided practices will be offered and there will be space for interaction and discussion. Participants will leave with some practical tools for developing the ability to welcome in the wholeness of the human experience with greater confidence and ease.
