1 Day MBCT-L retreat online Saturday 5th February 2022

1 Day online mindfulness retreat.

Start time 08:00 UK time with a finish of 19:00 UK time. There is a between 1pm and 2pm between the sessions.

The day consists of 2x 5h practices. The practices and each session schedule is that of the MBCT-L practice day.

NOTE: zoom link for both the sessions are the same so you only register once if you like to come to both sessions.

This practice day is to facilitate a deeper learning and consolidation of our experiences.
The participants are participating in silence after the initial greeting.

The day will consist of 30min guided practices that flow into each other without formal stop/start.

We will do some mindful movements as part of the day so wear layers that are comfortable for sitting and moving. There will also be an opportunity for some mindful walking with wide awareness and you can go outside for this if you wish.

There will be a mid-session break after two hours (45 min) for some food/rest and we strongly advice to have your food prepared in advance so that you can spend the break focusing on mindful eating and resting/contemplation.

You manage your comfort and wellbeing, trying to fit it in during the transitions between the practices in the sessions.

Refrain from writing, journaling, note taking, etc. during the day. Take the opportunity to “just be” for 5 hours in your life.

If at all possible, find a place where you can be undisturbed for the duration of the sessions and see if you can switch off your mobile phone 😊
If you need to interact with the outside world, do so with great 50:50 practice and keep it to a minimum if it cannot wait until we have finished.
